Symptom Tracking

native wellness assessment™

The Native Wellness Assessment (NWA)™ tool is the first of its kind to measure how cultural interventions affect a person’s wellness from a whole person and strengths-based view.

Full use of the NWA™ can be made available to any organization that provides Indigenous culturally based programs and services.

self-report measures +
scoring guides

We have provided a small list of publicly-available self-report measures that can be used to describe and track aspects of substance use and mental health symptoms you may wish to measure.

All of the measures are available free of charge. Most are short, easier to read measures that are often used in clinical and evaluation settings. These measures are those which have been designated as open for public use.

There are some measures that are often used in clinical and evaluation spaces but have not been designed specifically to be culturally-relevant for Indigenous people.
